 Randy Ahrens Lansing,
MI Born March 5, 1955 in Washington, D.C.; passed away on April 4,
2006 at the age of 51. Randy enjoyed NASCAR, fishing and was very involved
in AA for many years. He was a master plumber and pipe fitter for T.
H. Eifert Inc. Randy was preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Ahrens.
Surviving are daughter, Jessica Ahrens of Lansing; sons, Ryan Ahrens
of San Diego, CA and Jim Ahrens of Lansing; mother of his children,
Karen Powers of Eaton Rapids and loving partner, Paula Rimer of Lansing;
brother, John Ahrens of Leslie; and sister, Kathy (Scott) Wheeler of
Leslie. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 10, 2006 at
12:00 p.m. at Gorsline-Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Ave.,
Lansing. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery,
Lansing. The family will receive friends at the Chapel on Saturday,
2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and Sunday, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Those desiring may make
contributions to Alcoholics Anonymous, 1500 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing,
